Bill O’Reilly: Garland Will Charge Hunter Biden With Contempt

Former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly has expressed his belief that Attorney General Merrick Garland may pursue contempt of Congress charges against Hunter Biden. O’Reilly made these comments during an appearance on “Eric Bolling The Balance,” where he argued that Garland might indict Hunter Biden for failing to comply with his House Oversight Committee subpoena for a closed-door deposition earlier this week.

O’Reilly drew a parallel with the case of Stephen K. Bannon, a former adviser to ex-President Donald Trump, who was indicted for a similar violation of a congressional subpoena. Bannon was convicted and sentenced to four months in prison, along with a fine.

According to O’Reilly, Garland should treat Hunter Biden’s case similarly to Bannon’s because it involves a comparable scenario. When pressed about whether Garland might apply a different standard of justice for Trump and President Joe Biden’s family, O’Reilly suggested that Garland’s primary motivation is to protect his own interests.

He noted that Garland initially pursued three minor charges against Biden, which were dismissed by a federal judge in August. O’Reilly asserted that many in Washington, D.C., believe Biden’s political career is in jeopardy.

Hunter Biden recently held a press conference at the United States Capitol, where he announced his intention to defy the Oversight subpoena, citing Republican misinformation about his personal and professional life.
