President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden will continue to be scrutinized by the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, ensuring they face accountability for their actions, Representative Glenn Grothman assured during an interview on Saturday.
Speaking on Newsmax’s “The Count,” the Wisconsin Republican emphasized the ongoing nature of the investigation. “With every hearing, we uncover more information,” Grothman stated. “Despite the absence of Devon Archer and Hunter Biden in this particular hearing, our efforts to gather information persist.”
Grothman outlined the committee’s objectives, highlighting the necessity for access to additional emails and bank records from the president. “As we delve deeper, it becomes increasingly evident that Joe Biden should face charges of some sort,” he asserted.
Rejecting assertions that the investigation is a waste of time due to Biden’s stature, Grothman affirmed the committee’s commitment to thorough examination. “Chairman Jim Comer and I are resolute in our determination to pursue this matter,” he affirmed. “Future hearings are already being planned, and we intend to explore bank and credit card records, along with obtaining emails from Hunter Biden.”
Grothman stressed the public’s demand for transparency and accountability. “Americans are fed up with public officials flouting the law for personal gain without consequence,” he remarked. “Congress may need to take action or enlist the FBI for further investigation into the Biden family’s apparent wrongdoing.”
While acknowledging shortcomings in the justice system’s partisan nature, Grothman reiterated public skepticism surrounding the Biden family’s conduct. “The public recognizes that the Biden family’s actions are suspect,” he stated.
Regarding Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s interrogation of witness Tony Bobulinski, Grothman expressed disapproval, labeling her tactics as “embarrassing.” “Their unwavering support for Joe Biden is evident,” he remarked. “I believe the public should be more concerned about Biden’s handling of the border crisis and his apparent use of influence for personal gain.”
Grothman concluded by expressing hope for bipartisan acknowledgment of Biden’s questionable actions. “I urge Democrats of integrity to denounce Biden’s conduct,” he urged. “The behavior exhibited is unbecoming of a high-ranking official, and it’s time for accountability.”
