Sen. Marshall: Biden Will Lose Over Border Crisis

Senator Roger Marshall expressed on Thursday that the situation at the southern border of the United States is the primary issue in this year’s presidential election and predicted it will lead to President Joe Biden losing his position in the White House.

Marshall, a Republican from Kansas, emphasized the significance of the border crisis during recent town halls with both senior citizens and young adults, noting that it is their top concern. He pointed out that former President Donald Trump, who is anticipated to run against Biden this fall, has demonstrated the ability to secure the border using existing laws. Marshall also called for the immediate removal of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and the election of Donald Trump as President.

The senator’s remarks followed a press conference he held with Senator Ted Cruz of Texas and other lawmakers. They criticized a developing bipartisan agreement for funding Ukraine and Israel, arguing that it fails to adequately address the border crisis.

Marshall raised concerns about the current administration’s use of parole, stating that President Biden has granted parole to a significantly higher number of individuals compared to the numbers during Barack Obama’s presidency. He stressed that any bipartisan bill concerning funding and the border must tackle issues like asylum and parole.

He urged people affected by crimes linked to the border situation to share their experiences, emphasizing the real impact on American families. Marshall also defended Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s border initiatives, which he believes are crucial in addressing the humanitarian crisis and countering activities like human trafficking conducted by cartels. He specifically mentioned Abbott’s installation of razor wire as a measure that helps the Border Patrol in their duties.
