Trump Accuses Lincoln Project of Using AI in Attack Ad

Ex-President Donald Trump has recently criticized a political advertisement, alleging that it employs artificial intelligence to cast him in a negative light.

This critique from Trump came in response to an advertisement by The Lincoln Project, a group known for its opposition to Trump.

In his post, Trump accused The Lincoln Project, which he labeled as “perverts and losers” and noted as previously dissolved, of using AI technology in their television ads to unfavorably compare him to Joe Biden. He further criticized Fox News for airing such advertisements, contrasting this with CNN and MSDNC’s refusal to broadcast negative content about Biden or the Democrats, suggesting that these networks act as undeclared campaign supporters for the Democrats.

Forbes highlighted that this advertisement is also accessible on YouTube and another social media platform, further mentioning that the ad seemingly features well-known errors from Trump’s 2024 campaign and his time as president.

One such ad on YouTube, titled “Feeble,” portrays Trump as “weak and unstable,” questioning if he is sure he doesn’t suffer from dementia.

In response to Forbes’ request for a comment, The Lincoln Project redirected them to a post by Rick Wilson, one of the group’s founders. Wilson’s post was a direct rebuke to Trump, stating that no AI was needed to depict him as “an impotent, drooling elder in sharp cognitive decline.” He emphasized that The Lincoln Project simply presented the reality, challenging Trump to stay tuned for more.
