In the early hours of Thanksgiving Day, former President Donald Trump shared a bold message on his Truth Social platform, sharply criticizing New York’s Attorney General, the judge overseeing his civil fraud case, President Joe Biden, and various political groups he described as extreme.
Later in the day, Trump, a Republican presidential contender, uploaded a video expressing gratitude to America’s military and law enforcement.
Trump’s initial post, made shortly after 2 a.m., included a Thanksgiving greeting to “ALL,” explicitly naming New York State Attorney General Letitia James, whom he labeled as “Racist & Incompetent” and accused of failing to address crime and economic issues in the state. He also targeted Judge Arthur Engoron, calling him a “Radical Left Trump Hating Judge” and a “Psycho.” Trump accused Engoron of undervaluing his assets to frame him for fraud. He further criticized Alison Greenfield, the chief clerk, alleging her involvement in biased legal proceedings.
The former President then directed his ire at Biden, accusing him of misusing his power for political gain and contributing to the country’s decline. Trump’s message included a call to action, promising victory in the 2024 Presidential Election and a return to greatness for America.
Trump has been a vocal critic of James, Engoron, and Greenfield, leading to a gag order from the judge. James has pursued a civil fraud lawsuit against Trump, his business, and his sons, alleging they inflated asset values for financial gain.
Later that morning, Trump posted a heartfelt video thanking the U.S. military and law enforcement agencies. He expressed gratitude to God, family, friends, and the nation, highlighting the service of those in uniform, including armed forces, border patrol, ICE, and local police and first responders. He acknowledged the challenges facing the country but remained optimistic about the future.
In a subsequent post, Trump lamented the current state of the nation, expressing a sentiment of declining triumphs and urging for change.
