Trump Talks With Saudi Arabia’s MBS

Former President Donald Trump recently had a phone conversation with Saudi Arabia’s de facto leader, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, according to a report by The New York Times on Wednesday.

The content of the discussion between the two individuals remains undisclosed. However, the timing of the call coincides with the Biden administration’s efforts to formulate a reported peace initiative in the Middle East.

On Wednesday, Reuters reported that White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan had planned to visit Saudi Arabia this week but had to postpone the trip due to a cracked rib.

White House spokesman John Kirby clarified that Sullivan’s injury was minor and not caused by any deliberate act. He stated, “This was a minor accident of his own. It was not caused by anybody. It was not the result of a nefarious act.”

Kirby did not provide any information regarding a rescheduled date for Sullivan’s trip to Saudi Arabia.
