Why Trump is the Candidate No One Can Beat

Poll analyst John McLaughlin shared insights suggesting a likely rematch between former President Donald Trump and current President Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential elections. According to McLaughlin, Trump is poised to secure his party’s nomination with a significant lead over other potential Republican candidates.

McLaughlin, whose polling organization is affiliated with Trump’s campaign, detailed the results of their latest national survey during a segment on “Eric Bolling The Balance” with guest host Joe Pinion. The poll indicates Trump’s commanding position in the Republican field, showing him at 58%, far ahead of other contenders like Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, and Vivek Ramaswamy.

When considering a direct comparison between Trump and DeSantis, the poll reveals a substantial gap, with Trump leading 75% to DeSantis’s 25%, underscoring Trump’s strong hold within the party.

Furthermore, McLaughlin’s poll projects an advantage for Trump in a potential head-to-head contest against Biden, with a 49%-43% lead. This forecast is particularly notable as it includes a higher proportion of voters who supported Biden in the 2020 election, indicating a shift in preference towards Trump for the upcoming election.

On the Democratic side, Biden appears to have a firm grip on his party’s nomination, facing minimal competition from other candidates like Representative Dean Phillips of Minnesota and author Marianne Williamson. McLaughlin asserts that Biden’s position is solidified by his control over party delegates and his solo participation in primary races from South Carolina onwards. He predicts a clear victory for Biden over Phillips, who currently garners only 3% of the vote in polls.

These insights set the stage for a potential Trump-Biden showdown in the 2024 presidential race, with McLaughlin favoring Trump as the likely victor.
