Chris Christie’s Bold Stance on Election Drama

Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie has declared that he would not participate in the 2024 election if the nominees were President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump. In an interview on “Eric Bolling The Balance,” the former New Jersey governor reaffirmed his recent decision not to support Trump for the 2024 nomination, a departure from his previous stance.

Christie expressed his concerns about both candidates, stating that he believes Biden has had a negative impact on the country and that he views Trump as unfit for the presidency. He emphasized that he would not vote if Biden and Trump were the only two choices in the election, despite receiving some pushback from host Eric Bolling.

In addition to his remarks on “Eric Bolling The Balance,” Christie also made it clear on “The View” this week that he would not pardon Trump if the former president were found guilty of any crimes related to his alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election.

Previously, Christie had committed to the Republican National Committee that he would support the eventual winner to qualify for the first four presidential debates. However, he is now disqualified from the upcoming debate scheduled for January 10 in Des Moines, Iowa. This debate is likely to feature only Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley.

While Christie is polling at 3.4% nationwide, according to FiveThirtyEight, he has garnered more support in New Hampshire, with an average of around 11% in the state’s primary polls.
