President Joe Biden’s recent actions are indicative of his lack of substantial accomplishments and a dire need to resort to divisive tactics in preparation for his reelection bid, claimed Jason Miller, a seasoned adviser to Donald Trump, during an appearance on “Newsline” on Wednesday.
Biden’s participation in an abortion rights event in Florida this week, where he made the sign of the cross while listening to Florida Democratic Party Chair Nikki Fried criticize Republican Governor Ron DeSantis’ stance on abortion, drew criticism from some Catholics.
Miller seized on this moment, suggesting that Biden’s actions reflected a lack of accomplishments to tout. “He can’t run on his economic record,” Miller asserted, pointing to what he termed the failures of “Bidenomics,” which he characterized as contributing to skyrocketing inflation in essential goods like groceries and gas. “So, you see Joe Biden essentially resorting to divisive politics, things that further split apart the American public as a way to try to make his case as far as why he thinks he should be reelected,” Miller commented.
Moreover, Miller highlighted what he described as Biden’s frequent verbal gaffes, suggesting that they eroded trust in the president and the Democratic Party as a whole.
In addition, Miller noted that foreign leaders are increasingly turning to GOP frontrunner Donald Trump, suggesting that they see him as a more reliable and respected leader than Biden. He cited recent interactions between Trump and leaders such as Polish President Andrzej Duda, British Foreign Secretary David Cameron, and others as evidence of Trump’s rising influence on the global stage.
Miller argued that under Trump’s leadership, the world was in a better position in terms of trade, safety, and security, contrasting it with what he perceives as a weakened America under Biden. He asserted that the return of a strong America under Trump’s leadership would lead to stability and prosperity worldwide, contrasting it with what he sees as the current chaos.
