Lara Trump: Huge Fundraising Month for RNC

Lara Trump, the newly elected co-chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC), shared in an interview that her initial weeks in the role have been marked by a significant surge in fundraising for Donald Trump. According to her, the RNC has made substantial progress in narrowing the fundraising disparity with President Joe Biden’s campaign.

During an interview with “Eric Bolling The Balance,” Lara Trump emphasized the strategic changes implemented by RNC Chair Michael Whatley, which have strengthened Donald Trump’s position.

“The DNC’s main talking point has been that they have more funds than us. But that narrative won’t hold for long,” Lara Trump stated to host Bolling. “March was a remarkable fundraising month for the RNC. We’re proud of our accomplishments, and we’re just getting started.”

While Lara Trump did not disclose specific figures, recent reports indicated that the RNC raised $65.6 million in March alone.

“We are now operating as a unified effort with the campaign, eliminating redundancy in roles,” she added. “There is seamless coordination between the Trump campaign and the RNC, which ultimately benefits Donald Trump.”

Lara Trump highlighted an upcoming fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, anticipated to generate approximately $40 million for Trump.

She also discussed the organizational changes at the RNC since she and Whatley assumed leadership from former Chair Ronna McDaniel.

“We made significant staffing changes within the first week, which were necessary,” she remarked. “Our priority is to ensure that every donation is maximized for the upcoming critical election. Whether it’s optimizing staffing, scrutinizing contracts and vendors, or aligning with the Trump campaign, we are focused on efficient resource utilization.”

Regarding the possibility of debates between Donald Trump and Biden, Lara Trump expressed her belief that Biden’s handlers would attempt to avoid such engagements.

“It’s evident that Democrats will employ various tactics to prevent Joe Biden from debating,” she commented. “However, we will persistently advocate for presidential debates. It’s crucial for the American people to witness these candidates side by side on a debate stage.”
