Katie Porter and Republican Steve Garvey, a former major league baseball player, are locked in a tight race for second place.
The top two candidates in the primary, regardless of their party affiliation, will advance to the general election. Here’s a breakdown of the poll results:

- Steve Garvey follows closely with 18% of likely voters favoring him.
- Rep. Barbara Lee, a Democrat, receives 10% of support.

Furthermore, the survey highlights that 64% of Republican likely voters in California express their intention to vote for former President Donald Trump in the GOP presidential primary.
The poll was conducted from February 6th to 13th and included 1,628 California residents. The margin of error for the survey is plus or minus 3.9 percentage points.
