Trump Wishes Melania ‘Happy Birthday’ Amid ‘Rigged’ Trial

Former President Donald Trump expressed his regret at being unable to spend his wife’s birthday with her due to his court proceedings. Speaking outside a New York City courthouse on Friday, Trump sent his wishes to Melania Trump, the former first lady, on her birthday.

“It would be nice to be with her, but I’m in a courthouse for a rigged trial,” Trump remarked. “Terrible. We’re doing very well in this rigged trial, and everyone knows it.”

Despite the ongoing legal challenges faced by her husband, Melania, who turns 54 today, remains active. She recently attended a fundraiser for the Log Cabin Republicans, a group advocating for LGBTQ+ members of the GOP, marking her first significant political engagement this year.

In addition to her public appearances, Melania is also commemorating Mother’s Day by offering necklaces of her design, featuring her signature.

“Let’s honor and celebrate all mothers with love and gratitude,” Melania wrote in a statement.

Meanwhile, Trump is confronting 34 felony charges in his ongoing New York trial, accused of falsifying business records to allegedly conceal hush-money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels, who claims they had an affair. Trump has consistently denied these allegations.
